Advanced LDAP Settings

This tab allows you to customize your queries to the LDAP database and choose the LDAP

attributes to query.

Section Field Description

LDAP

Attributes

If you use a

non-standard

attribute in the

e-mail, First

Name, Last

Name, and

Common

Name fields,

enter the

attribute name

in the field.

Class The LDAP class to which the attributes you want to query belong.

The default choices are:

> DominoPerson

> Person

>User

User ID The attribute that your system uses to query the user ID. The default

choices are:

> SAMAccountName

>uid

e-mail The attribute that your system uses to query the mail id. The default

choices are:

> mail

> e-mail

First name The attribute that your system uses to query the user’s first name.

The default choices are:

>givenName

>sn

>uid

> SAMAccountName

Last name The attribute that your system uses to query the user’s last name. The

default choices are:

>sn

>givenName

>uid

> SAMAccountName
