10.15 Specifying the method of setting the transmission source/reception
information (Header/Footer Position)
The location where Header and Footer is added is specified.
The location where Header and Footer is added is of following type respectively.
Header Position
- Inside Body Text: Transmission source information is written on the original and then printed.
- Outside Body Text*: Transmission source information is printed on the outer side of the original.
- OFF: Transmission source information is not printed. (This setting is not available for the North
American model.)
Print Receiver’s Name (This setting is not available for the North American model.)
- ON*: Sender name and destination is printed as transmission source information.
- OFF: Sender name and fax number is printed as transmission source information.
Footer Position
- Inside Body Text: Reception time and reception number are printed as a superscript on the received
original.
- Outside Body Text: Reception time and reception number is printed below the received original.
- OFF*: Reception information is not printed.
* is a default value at the time of procurement.
Setting Header/Footer Position

Header information is printed in the received original of the recipient. For details, refer to "Fax Header
Settings" on page 2-50.
For the details of reception information, refer to "Footer Setting" on page 3-13.
1 Display the Administrator Settings screen as described in "Displaying Administrator Settings screen"
on page 10-3.
2 Touch [Fax Settings].
Some items may not be displayed according to setting options.
In the Utility mode, the number displayed on button can be entered and selected on the keypad. For
[Fax settings] enter [8] on the keypad.
