Using the printer driver

Basic tab

The following parameters can be set from the Basic tab.

Orientation

z “Portrait” prints across the width of the page, letter-style.

z “Landscape” prints across the length of the page, spreadsheet-style.

Copies

Allows you to set the number of copies to be printed. You can enter up to 99.

When “Collate” is selected, one complete copy of the document is printed

before the next copy is printed. When “Collate” is not selected, all copies of a

single page are printed before the next page is printed.

“N to 1” allows you to print the document pages in reverse order.

Effect

The following resolution settings are available.

z 600 dpi

“Print Density” adjusts the density level of the printer document between 1

(lighter) and 7 (darker).

“Toner Save” allows you to save toner by using less toner to print a docu-

ment.

“Invert” inverts the brightness and colors of the printed image.

Paper tab

The following parameters can be set from the Paper tab.

Paper

z “Original Size” allows you to set the size of media loaded in the media

tray.

z “Media Type” allows you to choose the desired media type.
