Authentication
" This page appears only if a hard disk kit or a CompactFlash card is
installed.
" This page doesn’t appear when both User Authentication and
Account Track are set to Off and Public Access is set to Restrict (in
the Network - Authentication - User Authentication page).
Default Permission Settings
The System - Authentication - Default Permission Settings window allows
you to configure the following items.
Item Description
Function
Permission
Print Select whether or not printing is permitted when
public authentication is used.
Choices: Allow, Restrict
Default: Allow
Apply button Applies the configuration settings for this window.
Clear button Resets all configuration settings to previous values.
