9.3 Registering Group destinations
Multiple destinations can be grouped and registered in Group destinations.
Group destinations are useful when same contents are to be used in broad-
cast transmission or at the time of broadcast polling reception.
Up to 100 Group destinations (01 - 99, 00) can be registered including the
groups used in scanner functions.
Up to 500 destinations in the Address Book can be registered in one Group
destination.
Only destinations in the Address Book can be registered in Group destina-
tion. Group destination should be registered after registering the destinations
in the Address Book.
A group name can be given to each group.
The operations for registering destination and name in Group destinations,
operations for changing registered Group destinations, operations for delet-
ing registered Group destinations are explained below.

The registration is not possible if the name and the destination are not
set.

Detail
Address Book, Group destination and program destination can be regis-
tered using PageScope Web Connection.
If PageScope Web Connection is used, settings changes and destination
registrations can be made from a network computer.
For details on the using PageScope Web Connection, refer to the User’s
Guide [PageScope Web Connection Operations].
The registered contents can be checked on the Group Address List.
For details on Group Address List, refer to “Printing Group Address List”
on page 11-43.
