Function Name Option Description

[Select Color] [Full Color], [Gray Scale] Specify whether to print with color or gray scale.

For the output of the black, the rich black (CMYK mix)

is used when you select [Full Color] and the pure black

(K 100%) is used when you select [Gray Scale].

[Print with Black] Off, On

[Text only], [Text And

Graphics]

It protects the tinted characters, lines and figures from

being printed lighter according to the selected condi-

tions.

This can be specified when [Gray Scale] is selected in

[Select Color].

[Quality Adjust-

ment...]

− Click this button to adjust the image quality. For details,

refer to page 12-25.

[Fine line printing] [Smoothing]

[Thinning]

[Emphasis]

[Auto Trapping]

[Fine line area]

Select fine line printing of text, graphics and images.

• [Smoothing]: Prints curves smoothly.

• [Thinning]: Prints with thinning thick lines.

• [Emphasis]: Prints images with outlines empha-

sized.

• [Auto Trapping]: Prevents borders of texts and ob-

jects with different colors from misalignment.

• [Fine line area]: Specify area for fine line printing.

[Resolution] [600dpi], [1200dpi] Select a resolution for printing.

[Pattern] [Fine], [Coarse] Specify fineness of the graphic patterns.

[Separation Out-

put]

Off, On Specify for separation output.

[Glossy Mode] Off, On Select this check box to print using a gloss finish.

It can be specified when Print Type is [1-Sided].

C8000 does not support [Glossy Mode].
